National Girls and Women in Sports Day Celebration

This celebration of National Girls & Women in Sports Day will be free & open to the public. Participants include local teams, clubs, & organizations to showcase the amazing opportunities girls & women have in Whatcom Co. Attendees can try activities, hear from inspiring guest speakers, & have fun at a sport 'themed' photo booth.

Girl.Strong. is the host non-profit organization. Sponsors include Superfeet & Prime Sports Institute. We estimate between 15-20 other organizations, teams, clubs to attend and participate. (We can confirm a final count closer to the event).  Speakers include Registered Dietitian, Heidi Strickler; author and paddler, Susan Conrad; and author and Ultra-Runner, Krissy Moehl.
